1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Coroid ("the Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Coroid is an AI-powered autonomous development platform that orchestrates specialized AI agents (Architect, Developer, QA, Code Reviewer) to deliver software development services. The Service includes:

  • Autonomous Development: AI agents that plan, code, test, and deliver features through your existing tools (GitHub, Jira, Trello, CI/CD)
  • Project Management: Tools for managing projects, tasks, and specifications
  • Code Generation: AI-driven code generation with specification validation and code review
  • Quality Assurance: Automated testing and quality checks
  • Integrations: Third-party integrations with Git providers, issue trackers, and communication tools
  • Storage: File storage and management services
  • Monitoring: Analytics, metrics, and system monitoring

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • You must maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

3.2 Multi-Tenant Architecture

  • Each organization operates in an isolated environment
  • Data is segregated by organization to ensure privacy and security
  • You are responsible for managing access within your organization

3.3 Authentication

  • The Service supports multiple authentication methods including OAuth (GitHub, Google), email/password, and API keys
  • You must use secure authentication practices
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that show suspicious activity

4. Use of Service

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Service for:

  • Software development and project management
  • Code generation and testing
  • Integration with your existing development tools
  • Team collaboration and project tracking

4.2 Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use the Service to generate malicious code, malware, or harmful content
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
  • Use the Service to violate intellectual property rights of others

5. AI-Generated Content

5.1 AI Agent Operations

  • AI agents operate autonomously but generate code that requires human review
  • All code changes are delivered as pull requests that must be reviewed before merging
  • You are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated code
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content

5.2 Code Quality

  • AI agents follow best practices but may generate code that requires modification
  • You are responsible for testing, reviewing, and validating all generated code
  • We recommend implementing code review processes and quality gates

5.3 Liability for AI-Generated Content

  • You assume full responsibility for any code, content, or output generated using the Service
  • We are not liable for any damages resulting from AI-generated content
  • You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of AI-generated content

6. Data and Privacy

6.1 Data Collection

We collect and process:

  • Account information (name, email, organization details)
  • Project data (code, specifications, tasks, configurations)
  • Usage data (API calls, feature usage, performance metrics)
  • Integration data (GitHub repositories, issue trackers, communication tools)
  • Technical data (IP addresses, device information, logs)

6.2 Data Storage

  • Your data is stored securely in our infrastructure
  • We use industry-standard encryption for data at rest and in transit
  • Data is stored in multi-tenant architecture with organization-level isolation
  • You retain ownership of all your data

6.3 Data Retention

  • We retain your data for as long as your account is active
  • You may request deletion of your data at any time
  • Some data may be retained for legal or operational purposes as required by law

6.4 Data Security

  • We implement security measures to protect your data
  • However, no system is 100% secure, and you use the Service at your own risk
  • You are responsible for maintaining secure access to your account

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Your Content

  • You retain all ownership rights to your code, projects, and data
  • By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use your content solely to provide the Service
  • You represent that you have the right to use and process any content you provide

7.2 Our Content

  • The Service, including all software, designs, and content, is owned by Coroid
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission
  • Our trademarks, logos, and brand features are our property

7.3 Third-Party Content

  • The Service may include third-party software, libraries, or content
  • Such content is subject to its own licenses and terms
  • We are not responsible for third-party content

8. Billing and Payments

8.1 Subscription Plans

  • The Service offers multiple subscription plans (Free, Pro, Enterprise)
  • Plan features, limits, and pricing are subject to change with notice
  • You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time

8.2 Payment Terms

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • Payments are processed through Stripe or other payment processors
  • You are responsible for providing accurate payment information
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension

8.3 Usage Limits

  • Each plan has usage limits (task credits, tokens, storage, etc.)
  • Overage charges may apply if you exceed your plan limits
  • You can monitor your usage through the Service dashboard

8.4 Refunds

  • Subscription fees are generally non-refundable
  • Refunds may be provided at our discretion for exceptional circumstances

9. Integrations and Third-Party Services

  • You are responsible for maintaining valid credentials and permissions for integrations

9.2 API Access

  • You must use API keys securely and not share them with unauthorized parties

  • We require third parties to maintain appropriate security and privacy standards

10. Service Availability and Modifications

10.1 Service Availability

  • We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service

  • We are not liable for any damages resulting from service unavailability

11. Termination

  • You may cancel your account at any time through the Service dashboard
  • Upon cancellation, your access to the Service will be terminated

11.2 Termination by Us

  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms
  • We may terminate accounts that are inactive for extended periods
  • We reserve the right to terminate accounts for any reason with reasonable notice

11.3 Effect of Termination

  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases
  • We may delete or retain your data as specified in our data retention policy
  • Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect

12. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

12.1 Service "As Is"

  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
  • We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted

12.2 Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • We are not liable for any damages resulting from:
    • Use or inability to use the Service
    • AI-generated content or code
    • Third-party services or integrations
    • Unauthorized access to your account
    • Data loss or corruption

12.3 Indemnification

  • You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from:
    • Your use of the Service
    • Your violation of these Terms
    • Your violation of any third-party rights
    • Content you provide or generate using the Service

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles

13.2 Dispute Resolution Process

  • Disputes will be resolved through good faith negotiation
  • If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration
  • Class action lawsuits are waived to the extent permitted by law

14. General Provisions

14.1 Entire Agreement

  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Coroid
  • These Terms supersede all prior agreements and understandings

14.2 Modifications

  • We may modify these Terms at any time
  • Material changes will be notified through email or Service notifications
  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

14.3 Severability

  • If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect

14.4 Assignment

  • You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent
  • We may assign these Terms to any successor or affiliate

14.5 Waiver

  • Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver
  • Any waiver must be in writing and signed by us

  • You will use the Service responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws
